At Designer Concept Photography we create fully Tailor Made Art pieces for Children, Families and Adults.

Every design we create tells a unique story & is so much more than just a picture of what someone looks like, which of course is the role of traditional photography.

Every photographic journey with Designer Concept Photography starts with a comprehensive Photography Planning Session, which typically needs a full hour. Most of our clients come into our Williamstown, Geelong, Wollongong  or Sunshine Coast Studios for the planning session however many of our clients live over an hour away so we also offer the Planning Session via Skype as well.

The Photography Planning session is a vital part of the journey towards obtaining your personalised Art Piece because it is during this session that we discover all of the information needed to come up with each individual Concept Design.

The session covers many topics including: hobbies, sports, passions, culture, personalities, favourite movies/t.v., pets/animals, favourite colours and much more……… then using all of this information we brainstorm possibilities for the Art Pieces we will be creating for you.

The Special Concepts we create are as wonderful and varied as the amazing diversity of people on the planet! A concept may be something as simple as “Celebrating the innocence and magic of childhood” for a young child to displaying the dedication & passion someone has for their sport.

Once we have come up with the Concept or Concepts we will be designing for you, we then create a list of what clothing to bring to the shoot and what accessories to bring along. Accessories range from sentimental family items to favourite toys for children. We also love photographing pets of all types – with dogs being the favourite for our clients to bring along, however we’ve also had: parrots, rabbits, lizards, ducks and chooks!
